Rabbi Yissocher Dov Rokeach shlita is the fifth Belzer Rebbe and a direct descendent from Rabbi Shalom Rokeach z”l, the founder of Belz.
The Belzer Rebbe is a sought-after spiritual leader and advocate for his Jewish brethren — presiding over Belz institutions in Israel, the United States, Europe, Canada, and Australia.
The Rebbe’s keen wisdom, sage directives, and genuine blessings keep chassidim connected with Belz while drawing others to the chassidus of Belz.

THE GREAT BELZ SHUL
The great Belz Shul is situated in the Kiryat Belz neighborhood of Yerushalayim. It was modeled after the original Great Synagogue in pre-war Europe.
Its colossal edifice and ornate beauty enhance Yerrushalyim’s skyline. The shul boasts the largest aron kodesh (ark) in the world, as documented in the Guiness World of Records.
Thousands of mispallalim (worshippers) attend prayer services, learning sessions and communal gatherings at the Great Belz Shul each week. The shul is a landmark destination for Jews visiting from around the world.
