With deep sorrow and pain, the Jewish world at large and the Belz Chassidim in particular, especially Boro Park residents, mourn the tragic loss of a beloved Chassidic leader – כ’’ק האדמו’’ר מקאסוב זצללה’’ה – The Kossover Rebbe, Reb Shraga Feivish Hager Zt’’l, who was niftar this past Shabbos after battling illness for the last couple of years. 

The Kossover Rebbe Zt’l served as rebbe, dayan, and renowned posek , publishing several seforim.  Despite his esteemed positions, he was known for his humility – he made himself exceptionally accessible to everyone, anytime – never turning anyone away.
