MONEY FOR KARBANOS

As a child, Maran Reb Aharon zt”l asked his grandfather, Maran Reb Yehoshua of Belz zt”l, for two Greitzers (Kreuzer, a coin of the Austrian Empire).  His grandfather was wondering why he needed the money, asking the child: “Are you lacking anything?” to which Reb Aharon replied: “Zeida, I want to collect money to buy Seforim since I really like Seforim” (books).

Maran Reb Yehoshua asked him: “Ahre’la, what will you do when Moshiach comes when no new Seforim will be printed anymore?”

Young Are’la replied: “I will buy Korbonos (sacrifices) for the Beis Hamikdash!”

His grandfather was very impressed with his answer and said: “Since you are a smart boy, here are five Greitzers, and I hope you will soon be able to use this money to purchase Korbonos for the Beis Hamikdash!”.
