Montreal Belz Community Hosts Mega Fundraising Event for Belz Institutions in Israel

This past Sunday, the Belz community of Montreal gathered in unity and inspiration at a major fundraising event held at Shagal Hall, in support of the Belz Institutions in Eretz Yisrael. The event was graced by the presence of Harav Shulem Rokeach shlita, eldest grandson of the Belzer Rebbe shlita, who served as the guest of honor.

Harav Shulem delivered a heartfelt personal message from the Rebbe, expressing deep appreciation for the community’s unwavering support and offering divrei chizuk and warm brachos to the assembled Chassidim.

The uplifting event marked the culmination of a spiritually rich week during which Harav Shulem spent time in Montreal. The highlight was a meaningful Shabbos shared with the community, featuring inspiring tefillos, a Friday night tish filled with Divrei Torah, soulful singing and dancing, and a beautiful Shalosh Seudos. The Shabbos concluded with a spirited ‘bagleiten’ on Motzei Shabbos, as men and children joyously escorted Harav Shulem through the streets of Montreal with singing and dancing, expressing their love and admiration.

The week left a lasting impression on the Montreal kehillah, strengthening their connection to the Rebbe and the broader Belz community.
