NEW BELZ SETTLEMENT IN THE USA

The newspaper “HaMachane,” a Belz newspaper in the U.S., revealed that a historic initiative is advancing in America: the establishment of a new settlement, “Kiryas Belz USA,” aimed at addressing the housing crisis affecting the Charedi community. The settlement is expected to enable the purchase of spacious homes at affordable prices for Belz Chassidim and others who wish to join. The project has been promoted for several years by community leaders and has received the guidance and blessing of Harav Hatzadik, Reb Aharon Mordechai shlit”a, under the direction and holy blessing of the Belzer Rebbe shlit”a.

After approximately two years of behind-the-scenes work, extensive construction has begun on an area of about 1,200 dunams (roughly 296 acres), with plans to expand to about 3,000 dunams (approximately 741 acres). The settlement is being established near Jewish neighborhoods in New York and New Jersey, and it is expected that within about three years, hundreds of families will move into their new homes.
