SHABBOS POSTPONED

A historic Shabbos was planned this week for the tomchim—benevolent supporters of Merkas Mosdos Belz in Israel—to spend an uplifting Shabbos together with the Belzer Rebbe at a hotel —a first-of-its-kind event. More than 200 participants from around the world were scheduled to attend.

However, due to the Belzer Rebbe shlita’s recent health situation—baruch Hashem now improved—the Rebbe initially preferred not to cancel the gathering. Upon hearing that the event could be postponed, the Rebbe agreed, expressing his desire that the occasion take place properly, in a manner befitting the tremendous mesiras nefesh of those who support the institutions of Belz.
