Dor Yeshurim – Medical Developments Relevant to Bris Milahs

As part of Doros Yeshorim’s expanding activities, the organization’s leadership and rabbinic advisors met with Prof. Guy Hidas, Director of Pediatric Urology at Hadassah Medical Center, to discuss the latest medical developments relevant to milah. The meeting was chaired by Reb Shulem Rokeach shlita, grandson of the Belzer Rebbe shlita, who shared his expertise as an experienced mohel.

Rabbanim and expert Mohalim reviewed current medical techniques and established guidelines to help determine when medical consultation is warranted. A detailed guidance framework for Mohalim is expected to be released in the near future. The session was led by Rabbi Aharon Fried and Rabbi Yechiel Landau, who continue to expand the organization’s efforts on behalf of the Belzer community.
