A Yeshivah That Continued to Thrive During Bein Hazmanim

 

While yeshivos throughout Eretz Yisroel had already closed for the summer bein hazmanim, the bochurim of Yismach Lev in Ashdod continued their sedarim for an additional seventeen days, following the direction of the Rosh Yeshivah, Hagaon Rav Shlomo Levinger shlit”a. In response to the difficult situation in Eretz Yisroel, the bochurim dedicated themselves to extra hours of Torah learning, adding zechuyos for the residents of Eretz Yisroel. The special program included shiurim from renowned Rabbonim and Roshei Yeshivos, who came to strengthen the bochurim and share words of Torah, chizuk and guidance.

 

As part of the program, the bochurim traveled to the magnificent beis midrash of Yeshivas Ateres Shlomo in Rishon LeTzion, where they were warmly welcomed by Rosh Yeshivah Hagaon Rav Shalom Ber Sorotzkin shlit”a. They enjoyed a full day of Torah learning, shiurim and chizuk, together with opportunities to spend time with their Roshei Yeshivah, Ramim and mashpiim discussing matters of ruchniyus and avodas Hashem. The program concluded with a special seudah back at Yismach Lev, celebrating a zman of tremendous hasmadah and nachas d’kedushah as the bochurim prepared to enter the new zman with renewed strength and inspiration.
