ללכת בדרכיו וליראה אותו…(עקב ח:ו)

The chassid R’ Avraham Halpern a”h (from the West Side, New York) related that when he lived in Eretz Yisroel, he once found himself suffering from terrible anxiety.  He went with his father R’ Nuchem Halpern a”h to Maran Reb Aharon of Belz zt”l during the month of Av for a bracha.

His father told Reb Aharon due to a certain issue, his son suffered from terrible anxiety.  He also mentioned that his son, R’ Avraham, was waiting for entry permits to be allowed permanent residence in America.

When Maran Reb Aharon heard about the anxiety issue, he jumped up and passionately raised his holy fists and banged on the table, saying: “What fear? One only needs to fear Hashem!”.

Maran wished him well afterward; miraculously, Reb Avraham received his entry permits to America within a month, and his fears disappeared.
