Historic Shabbos with Harav Shulem Rokeach shlita

A memorable and historic weekend took place at the Melon Hotel in New Jersey, where Belz Institutions in Israel hosted the “ממלכת” Shabbos retreat for Belzer benefactors, together with their distinguished guest, Harav Shulem Rokeach shlita.

Harav Shulem delivered inspiring Divrei Torah and hadracha to an attentive audience, offering insights on chassidus, the meaning of being a Belzer chassid, and the Belzer Rebbe shlita’s genuine connection with his chassidim.

The retreat featured other renowned speakers from abroad, including Harav Shmiel Damen shlita of Yerushalayim and Harav Shia Dov Gelwachs shlita, Rav of Ner Yisroel in Lakewood. Reb Shlome Kalish and his son, Reb Eliezer Kalish—celebrated Belzer composers—composed two new songs over Shabbos. Zemiros Shabbos was enhanced by a Belzer choir led by famed singer R’ Shaya Lebron.

The special Shabbos concluded with Havdalah by Harav Shulem, followed by a joyous Motzei Shabbos medley with a professional orchestra and choir conducted by the renowned Mona Rosenblum. Hundreds of chassidim joined for a gala Melaveh Malka, where participants were uplifted and had the special opportunity to receive a מטבע של ברכה – gold coin from Reb Shulem.
