The Belzer Rebbe shlita’s Mechutan, The Makaver Rebbe shlita wishing a “גוט יאר!”
Thousands of Belzer Chassidim from many countries across the world spent Rosh Hashanah with the Belzer Rebbe shlita in Yerushalayim.The experience of hearing the resounding Ameins and the electrifying song accompaniments was awe-inspiring.
To accommodate the overflow of the many Chassidim who – despite the high tension in the Middle East at the end of last year – made sure to arrive for Rosh Hashanah, the tischen were conducted in the Shul’s courtyard instead of the usual ‘groise shtib’ (large room where the usual tischen are held). The heartwarming Rosh Hashanah themed niggunim (songs) reverberated through the streets of Yerushalayim.
The culmination of this great Yom Tov was the Shalosh Seudas tisch which ended hours after the z’man. Chassidim traveling back home took their leave from the Rebbe shlita leaving with hearts infused with kedusha in accompaniment with the Rebbe’s fervent brachos and wishes for safe travels, and a “גוט געבענטשט יאר”.
