What took 210 years? When Hashem sees that the Jews can tolerate being in exile, it keeps back the redemption. Therefore Hashem says, “First I’ll take you out of סבלות מצרים – that you shouldn’t be able to tolerate the exile, and then I can open the doors of redemption.”
