פרשת בהעלותך
Parshas Behaaloscha
ויאמר משה לחובב בן רעואל המדיני חותן משה נוסעים אנחנו אל המקום אשר אמר ה’ אותו אתן לכם (בהעלותך י:כט)
Moshe said to Chovav, son of Reuel, the Midianite, the father-in-law of Moshe, “We are journeying to the place of which Hashem has said, ‘Ishall give it to you.’
The acronyms for th words משה נוסעים אנחנו spells the word “אמן.” This alludes the the Chazal that says that one who answers Amein with his full strength and כוונה – devout intentions, the gates to Gan Eden are opened for him אותו אתן לכם – this is the place Hashem promised to give us. money can cause him to sink into the mud of materialism.
