כי לא כצורנו צורם (האזינו לב:לא)If not that, their Rock had sold them out.
Harav Hakodosh Reb Yitzkok of Vorka zt’’l explained that this pasuk references the features of a Yid that is always recognizable – even when a Yid stands among thousands of non-Jews. Thus, a Yiddish face stands out. This implies that we are different – we are Hashem’s nation and have no relationship with the non-Jews. כי לא כצורנו צורם –Our features don’t resemble theirs.Go back to Parshas Ha'azinu
