ראשית עריסותיכם חלה תרימו תרומה (שלח טו:כ)

Says the holy Rebbe of Koznits Ztz”l (Kozienice, Poland): עריסותיכם has another meaning, namely a crib.  We can learn from this Passuk that one should, from the earliest possible age, set aside from oneself for the sake of HaShem and elevate one’s life to serve Him better – do not wait until your strength wanes and you’re left with just the good desire to improve – when it might already be too late.
