אדם כי יקריב מכם קרבן לשם…(ויקרא א:ב)

he numerical value of the word “אדם” is 45, equivalent to the word “מה” which hints at          the trait of ענוה – humbleness.  Moshe and Aharon said – during one of their confrontations    with the Jewish people: “ונחנו מה” – what is our value?

This is the korban ( sacrifice) that a person needs to offer up to Hashem – to be an עניו –      humble – this is the true “קרבן לשם” as it says in Psalms “תהילים נא): “זבחי אלקים רוח נשברה) –    a broken spirit is considered a sacrifice to Hashem.
