איש או אשה כי יעשו מכל חטאת האדם למעול מעל בה’ (נשא ה:ו)

One who steals from his friend sins on two accounts.  One sin is “בין אדם לחבירו” – between man and his friend, and the other sin is “בין אדם למקום” – between man and Hashem – since he transgresses the sin of “לא תגזול” – you shall not steal.  This is what the passuk alludes to איש או אשה כי יעשו מכל חטאת האדם – is the sin “בין אדם לחברו” –  between man and his friend, and he also transgresses למעול מעל בשם – sin between “בין אדם למקום” – himself and Hashem.
