הנני ממטיר לכם לחם מן השמים ויצא העם ולקטו דבר יום ביומו (בשלח טז:ד)

I (Hashem) am raining down bread from heaven, and the people go out to gather it daily

The word הנני means a continuous thing.  When Yidden have constant בטחון – faith in Hashem, then ממטיר לכם לחם מן השמים – Hashem will provide them with parnassah (livelihood). However, the pasuk continues ויצאו העם – if they go out of the בטחון zone from having faith in Hashem, then ולקטו דבר יום ביומו – they’ll have to struggle daily for parnassah.
