ויולד נח שלשה בנים, את שם את חם ואת יפת (נח ו:י)

Rashi says on אלה תולדות נח – this teaches us that the primary offspring of tzaddikim are their מעשים טובים – good deeds. The passuk teaches us a way in Avodas Hashem – serving Hashem:

את שם – one should always remember the name of Hashem

את חם – mitzvahs need to be performed with warmth and enthusiasm

ואת יפת – one should only do nice things that are “תפארת לעושיה ותפארת לו מן האדם” – glorious to those who do it and glorious to others.
