(ויצא כח:יא) ויפגע בקמום

When the holy Yismach Yisroel of Alexander zt’’l used to daven Maariv, the walls in the shul used to cry along.  The Yismach Yisroel once explained why. “So many Jews come to me during the day to share their pain and woes; they seek advice, and do you think a Malach (angel) provides me with answers? No! Every night when I daven Maariv by the Bracha השכיבנו I ask Hashem to help me ותקננו בעצה טובה מלפניך – give me good advice and solutions to help my fellow Jews. And Hashem helps me!”
