VORT ON THE PARSHA
פרשת צו
Parshas Tzav
צו את אהרן את בניו לאמר: זאת תורת העלה… (צו ו:ב)
Command Aaron and his sons, saying: This is the law of the elevation offering. The word “צו” can also mean “צותא” – to be together. The Gemara states (ברכות סג) the following: “איו התורה נקנית אלה בחבורה” – the Torah can only be acquired by keeping together as a group. In this Possuk, Moshe Rabbenu taught the Yidden a valuable lesson: Suppose you want your Torah learning to reach higher and higher, so you must connect with the likes of Aaron and his sons, who were Kohanim and tzaddikim.
