THE RICH HISTORY OF BELZ
“The Shtetele Belz” in Belz, Poland was established in the 16th century as a spiritual enclave for Chassidic Judaism. The shtetl/town boasted illustrious Rebbes, a thriving community, and a monumental Shul (synagogue).
Tragically the Holocaust extinguished it all. Yet, miraculously, the Holy Reb Aharon of Belz, the late Belzer Rebbe zt”l, and his brother the Bilgoray Rebbe zt”l survived and rekindled the fire of Belz in Eretz Yisroel with perseverance, love, and dedication. Four decades later, the son of the Bilgoray Rebbe, the current Grand Rebbe of Belz, established Kiryat Belz in Jerusalem – a vivid replica of the “shtetl Belz.”

A VIBRANT BELZ
A GLOBAL ENTITY
The Shtetl of Belz has evolved into a “World of Belz.” Led by the Rebbe of Belz Shlita, the Chassidus is a hub for 21st Century Jewry. Its spiritual, educational, and social programs enamor, invite, and impact Jews from all spectrums across the globe.
During the groundbreaking ceremony of Kiryat Belz, the Belzer Rebbe shlita exclaimed: “All the kedushah (holiness) that my Heiliga Zeida’s z”l, the Belzer Rebbes ingrained in the Shtetele Belz were transferred to Kiryat Belz in Yerushalayim.”
Every organization that we develop must be designed to help Klal Yisroel (all Jewry), not only Belzer Chassidim!”
(Reb Yissocher Dov Rokeach; Belzer Rebbe shlita)

GREAT GIVING OPPORTUNITIES – INFINITE RETURNS

YOUR CONTRIBUTION – YOUR CONNECTION
The current Rebbe of Belz shlita advised a visiting delegation of Young Israel Rabbis: “Tell your members they can build a connection to Eretz Yisroel and support the Torah learning that takes place there, by contributing a dollar-a-day to the Pushka (charity box)!”
